Stars : 2/5 This book is about a girl named Jane Eyre, who loses her father and mother at a very young age. Hence she lives as an orphan at her aunts house, where her aunt and her cousins ill-treats her. At the age of 10 she is sent to Lowood School, which is a boarding school. After spending 8 years of her life in that school, she wants more from her life than just being confined in the walls of the school, so she advertises for a job. Soon she becomes a governess of a child named Adele in Thornfield Hall. And her life starts taking a different path. I've never been so confused about my feeling on a book. I wasn't sure that whether I liked this book or disliked it. And I guess that I'm somewhere in between. This book being Classic, it was really hard for me to get into it, because they are definitely not my cup of tea. But to be honest there are parts where I really enjoyed, but still this book didn't live upto my expectations.

The Mystery of Alice by Lee Bacon

Stars : 5/5 This book is about a 13-year-old girl named Emily Poe, who gets a one time opportunity to attend the elite Audyn School. But for that she has to pass a 'not so normal' scholarship test. Only she and another girl named Alice passes the scholarship exam. Soon she becomes close to Alice, but there are lot of mysteries about Alice that she still doesn't know about. But suddenly like a wave, everything comes to light and everything is swept away from her. This a tween book, though people from any age group can read it. It's a feel good book. The sound effects that the audiobook had was just amazing. The only thing that bothered me was the age of the characters, all of them were thirteen, and it's really hard to believe that thirteen year old kids could do this. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed the book.
