Ratings: 4.5/5 This book is a dark retelling of 'The Twelve Dancing Princesses'. In this story, the four sisters among the twelve are already dead. And the book starts with the funeral of one of them, ie, Eulalie. Annaleigh, believes that it's not a coincidence nor a curse that her sister's are dying one by one, there is something more to it, she suspects Eulalie's death as a murder. She starts investigating it. The story is not just this, it's much much more. The story contains lots of magic, horror, deaths and sorrows. Oh my god!! This book is so good. I really don't know what to say about this book. Oh my, it's such a good page turner. I finished this book really quick. When I came to know that this book is a retelling of this particular...

The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides

Ratings: 3/5  (on Goodreads) The Silent Patient is a thriller based on a woman named Alicia Berenson. She shoots the love of her life, Gabriel Berenson, five times and then she never speaks again. Theo Faber, a psychotherapist, is really keen on treating her and he believes that he can make Alicia talk, who haven't talked for 6 years. About the writing style, I didn't really like it as the writing consisted of slangs, and I'm not found of such writing. But still I enjoyed the book, it was quite a page turner.  I'm having mixed feelings towards this book, as the book had an abrupt and open ending, which I didn't like. Also I couldn't quite connect with the characters. I'm not saying that it's a bad book, I really enjoyed it, and I'll recommend it as well.

Ratings: 5/5  (on Goodreads) I just don't know what to say about this book, this book created a huge impact on me. Usually I don't read non-fiction, if I'm not wrong this is my third non-fiction. I read this book, firstly, because I'm a huge cricket fan and secondly, AB is one of my most favorite cricket player of all time. Because this was an autobiography, I didn't have any expectations from it, I thought this was gonna be a boring read for me, but I was terribly mistaken. The way this book is written is so beautiful. I used to think that only fiction books will let your emotions to flow out, that only they can make you picturize the events in your mind that occur in that book, but again I was proved wrong. Whenever AB described a match in the form of words, I was able to imagine ...
