Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief by Rick Riordan
Ok so I read this book. And I'm kind of having mixed feelings.
12-year old Percy Jackson was having a perfectly normal school life, well not exactly normal. But his life rapidly changes after he accidently vaporizes his maths teacher. He realizes that the things that he used to consider as myths were true. And now the biggest truth of his life was that, that he was a demigod (half human and half god), just not that, he is the son of Poseidon, the sea god. And suddenly he is accused of stealing Zeus' lightening bolt. And now he have to prove himself not guilty and retrieve the lightening bolt from the real thief.
I can't disagree with this, that it was a page turner. Some parts were really gripping but overall I was not quite satisfied as in many parts I felt it was too boring. But I enjoyed it as well.
But still, I may recommend people to read it. They might enjoy it more than me.
